Who we are

Lüdi Gardens is a horticultural design and garden maintenance business based in Wollongong, working across the Illawarra and Sydney’s eastern suburbs. ABN 80 250 342 591.

What this website collects

Two things, and that is the entire list.

When you send an enquiry

The form on our home page asks for your name and mobile number, and gives you the option of adding your property address and a note about your garden. Only the name and number are required. If you would rather not type your address into a website, leave it blank and tell us over the phone instead.

When you read the site

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people actually read. It records the pages you viewed, roughly how long you stayed, the kind of device you are on, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address, usually no finer than a suburb or city. We cannot identify you from any of it, and we have not turned on any advertising or remarketing features.

What we do with an enquiry

It comes straight to us. The form sends a text message and an email to the business inbox, so a quote request does not sit unread for a day. We use it to call you back, work out whether the job suits us, and price it.

We do not sell your details, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass them to other trades or to lead-generation services. Nobody buys their way into your phone through this website.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets a cookie so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. That is the only cookie this site uses. There are no advertising or tracking cookies here. If you would rather not be counted, your browser settings or any ad blocker will stop it, and nothing on the site will break.

How long we keep it

An enquiry stays on our phone and in the business email for as long as it is useful, which for a quote that turned into a job means the length of the working relationship. Analytics data expires on Google’s own schedule, currently 14 months. We keep as little as possible, so ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will.

Seeing, correcting or deleting what we hold

Call us on 0414 858 601 and ask. You can ask what we have, ask us to correct something wrong, or ask us to delete it. There is no form to fill in and no fee.

Where we stand legally

Australian businesses turning over less than $3 million a year are generally exempt from the Privacy Act 1988. We have written this page, and set the site up, to follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway. “We are not legally required to” is a poor reason to be careless with someone’s phone number.
